My mate David does draw this peg often so it’s about time he threw up a win in it, plenty of room on the match with so few anglers out, but credit where its due a few fish to be had and a very respectable 1 st place, congratulations mate

A complete ice over on the lake meant we had to switch venues and take the match to the top lake.

There is no stopping Royski with a win last week and then a cheeky little win on a lake he has hardly ever fished, this just proves that class always shines through but in Roy’s case it was just an absolute tip top bung hole draw, there was a fella in there with his guide dog in the week he also emptied it, ha ha ha, 12m of pole and kinder potting micro pellet with a 4mm expander to the hook, for the this huge winter bag of silvers, well done the Royski….

The rain did rain and the wind did blow and the fish they did feed, and the anglers well they got wet….

Windy?…... not many Benny, they say the jet stream has dropped, judging by the tree’s today it’s about 20ft from ground level, it wants to hurry up and get back up to 35,000 ft where it belong, Roy fished down the track with maggot and pellets over micro pellet, carp were plentiful and when the wind pushed to hard it was a quick retreat long down the peg to fish the margin one of those steady matches for Roy and another pay day.

The Royster is on a rollster, Roy ends 2014 on a win and starts 2015 on a win, can he do nothing wrong? Pellet fish for Roy on the wettest day we have had in a long while, if you know Roy he counts his fish and species so he told me after the match that he caught 25 skimmers and 7 carp, he caught equally down the track and across to the far bank, what a tidy days fishing for Roy so he might now be able to get a hat that fits and give that one back to papa smurf, lol……. Happy new year to all
